Depends on where they want to market it. The US is a huge, profitable market and they'll have to satisfy our regs for use here. Canadian standards closely resemble ours for new drug implementation. I doubt they'd be able to bypass much, nor would they want to. Many joint IND efforts and other medical studies are shared between the two countries' hospitals.
