#10379 RE: Whatboutecig #10378

What is there to be bummed about?

VLN (Brand A) is for those smokers that want to stop. It has proven itself in two clinical trials, when in use by itself and especially when used in tandem with other smoking cessation products such as nicotine patches or smoking cessation pills, and will most likely (according to some) be sold off as our X-22 product.

Also, XXII can control the nicotine level in tobacco from very high to next to zero and all and any level in between. So the customer doesn't have to have full current nicotine level or nothing, they can have 50% less (or whatever percentage is desired) compared to currently available cigarettes.

VLT (Brand B) is for smokers that don't want to stop smoking or limiting their nicotine intake but want a reduced risk cigarette compared to all other "light" cigarettes on the market today. Brand B has the same general level of nicotine as all other "light" cigarettes on the market today but has 80% less tar and carcinogens than those competitor "light" cigarettes. These products are the bulk of the worldwide tobacco market and that is why Brand B should be a strong candidate to capture a MAJOR percentage of the worldwide sales for such cigarettes. As a side note, the reduction in tar and carcinogens was raised from 75% to 80% as a result of the BAT/XXII collaboration efforts which started just last Sept. Will they be able to ramp it up a bit closer to 100%? Here's hoping.

Bottom line - XXII has the product for those that want to stop smoking and the product for those that want to smoke but with a vastly lower health hazard.

I call the above a reason to be elated, not to be bummed.
