1- Short sales are usually applied in this market.
Even in heavy and organized manner.
They even organize contests with rankings.
Obviously this is illegal, it's called market manipulation.
Sooner or later, the SEC will decide to take action, and then we laugh.

2- What you call "paid promotions" I call it advertising.

And I hope that a company that is emerging does not distribute a single dollar to shareholders.

Better that they spend on advertising.
