•4/4/2014 – As a result of the J3 and PNNL presentation to the Federal Facility Cleanup Meeting Team on April 3, 2014, the J3/PNNL team has been invited to attend the July Meeting in Washington in support of the Abandoned Mine Program.
•4/1/2014 - We are pleased to announce that Haley Beaudry has joined J3's team as our resident Professional Engineer. Mr. Beaudry has over 40 years of professional experience in industry. He was active in business development, marketing, & mergers and acquisitions for major US Mining firms. He also managed an environmental engineering and remediation company and is a licensed Class A Blaster.
•3/2014 - J3 receives Oak Ridge soil samples. Oak Ridge National Laboratory has asked J3 to design a treatability study that demonstrates how MBS could be incorporated as a reactive barrier in a landfill design. Several different test scenarios are being developed for the application testing using MBS. J3 received approximately 20 gallons of soil from Oak Ridge in March 2014 that will be used for that treatability testing. (Updated - Oak Ridge Mercury Timeline)
• 3/25/2014 – The Federal Facility Cleanup Committee meeting has been scheduled for April 3, 2014. J3 and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (pnnl.gov) will present environmental remediation data and capabilities to support the Abandoned Mine Program.
• 1/3/2014 – Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (pnnl.gov), a Department of Energy’s national laboratory, requested J3 to be its joint partner on a presentation at the request of the Department of Interior highlighting critical capabilities in environmental remediation, compliance, and monitoring that are necessary for the remediation of its abandoned mines. J3 will be presenting environmental remediation data about the Molecular Bonding System (MBS) metals treatment agent in support of the Abandoned Mine Lands Program. The presentation will be delivered to the Federal Facility Cleanup Committee by PNNL and J3 during the first quarter of 2014 in Washington, DC.
