TRCPA - Les Otten is on the right track. St-Malo's point about regional pellet manufacturing plants and local distribution goes hand in hand with Les' point. The North East could easily produce all of the pellets needed for thermal heat and distribute them in a very cost competitive way to the local markets. Picture 11.5 million homes in the North East heating with pellet boilers. Now consider how many regional wood pellet plants would be needed to support the fuel demand. By the way, there a few trees up here too, so the input materials are readily available.

And what might the intersecting point be trees -> pellet plant (KDS) -> to consumer.

CPAMAN. Excellent report. If those oil
folks would think outside their paranoid
paralysis of habit box.. they would buy
FASC and work in conjunction with the
miracles the KDS can perform. To compliment
and supplement the old (oil/gas) way
of doing things.
