P.S. Sadr keeps his age a secret, but he is thought to be in his early 30s.
But history tells us, the real firebrands, start shaking thing up in their youth.
I saw one picture of Sadr in May 2003, and he had the eyes of a revolutionary leader, you could see fire within him.
I knew then this was a major player.
By later that summer i announced this man Sadr, now unknown, will in time be known world wide.
I also wrote a long piece about the SCIRI SNOBS that saw themselves above Baggdad riff-raff, that they would learn their dismissal of Sadr a major mistake.
In 2003, if Sistani were asked of Muqtada al Sadr, and he said " i have know idea who he is"
Sistani did know who he was, but was just refusing to admit he knew of his existence.
And yet in the end the Sistani actually went himself to meet with Sadr.
