cfljmljfl - this is my last post about the meetings in Washington, as well. In all honesty, I wasn't even going to post my experiences because of this kind of ignorance and denial of our experiences, which was displayed by other posters critical of the process yesterday.
The staffers that I met with were NOT PLAYING STUPID! I, personally, did not feel patronized, not anywhere near as much as I feel it from the members of this board. At least half the posters on this board are selfish ingrates for the efforts of others. There was whining and moaning and complaining yesterday about 'no pop in the share price' from the press conference.
We're so sorry TO YOU PERSONALLY that we ONLY MET WITH STAFFERS who fooled and buffaloed us. Sorry we let you guys down! You all deserve and are entitled to receive so much more from our efforts and time! We promise to do better next time!
So many on here are just as selfish and 'do-nothing' as the Congressman and Senators they complain about.
As Feinstein's letter (for one) states, she is NOT on the Banking Committee, and I don't believe that the Senators take much interest in ANY legislation that is not out of committee, if it is not their committee.
There were larger meetings that Tim P took part in, the senators are busy and were on the senate floor during our visits. MB
