Many PC apps are migrating to touch based devices.

Microsoft office and Adobe Lightroom are the latest apps to debut on the iPad.

Also, why does a keyboard imply a need for more compute power? Compute power is already massively over-served for most client tasks.

This might be for the tablet version with a lower clock or more throttling for the phone.
