WRT non-market-related posts made on the OBOX, there have been some and I've been pretty tolerant of it. I understand that people read and post there partly to talk to me and partly to talk about the market. If and when an OT discussion gets very imnvolved and lengthy, I can see myself politely asking that it be moved to the Poet's Corner thread, where the space shuttle, the evils of spam and the ever-fascinating topic of sexual proclivities are eminently on-topic:
he would remove a CoB for NOT properly deleting posts as quickly as he would remove one improperly deleting posts.
This was actually a very recent issue, and a side of it that wasn't common knowledge: A chairman posting a personal attack then deleting a personal-attack reply but not deleting the original personal attack.
