Federal judges fall under the responsibility of the United States Marshal Service (USMS) as far as judicial protection, wit sec and federal building/courtroom operations in criminal matters. If non criminal, a form of law enforcement officers called court security officers run by the DOJ as separate contract employees, usually retired L/E, fill that role.
