basserdan - is EZM a buy?
Had Zinc in the back of my mind as an investment. Thinking I read that Zinc is now past peak production. How far could Zinc run before alternatives would play a role.
Knowing your knowledge in this arena is far beyond mine any response would be appreciated.

Hi Cash....
Actually, my knowledge of Zinc is rudimentary at best and were it not for an over riding belief that metals were in a long term bullish phase, I would prolly have stuck solely to the precious variety.

Having said that, I do believe there is sufficient future upside in Zn to warrant holding miners of that persuasion for some decent LT gains. <g>

And with that mindset, I would gladly add to my positions in EZM and MMGG on any decent pullbacks.

I'll leave the question of "how far could it go" to someone who knows about these things for I surely don't.

One question for you, if I may.... would wouldathunkit that the price of copper would run to almost $2.50/lb without a top coming into view? Me neither.
