Yes the DD will tell you if a spike up or a spike down is coming. I use the charts to find them, then read the filings and talk to the company see if news is coming and so forth. I am always careful to make sure they is no convertable debentures or perferreds or others nasties out there before I buy.

With trading you must conquer your emotions and be very disciplined about your goals.
