So how come you misled readers by saying Vakser was "acquitted" (i.e. found not guilty) today --and that a PR to stating that would be posted later today? And NOW you state a court date has been set for 4/11/2013 (I presume you mean 2014).

Conclusion: This case is far from settled. Eddie remains accused of CRIMINAL FELONY THEFT. The charge was brought by the Dallas "GRAND JURY" and he's being prosecuted by the DISTRICT ATTORNEY... not some lawyer the plaintiff has hired. Read the indictment again. D.A. Craig Watkins (paid by taxpayers) is prosecuting Eddie for a crime "against the peace and dignity of the State."

This is >>not<< the typical sort of civil matter Eddie is always messed up with. This is very serious stuff that can land him in jail. His defense is likely to be very, very costly.

****> and Kool Aid Man, there was no hearing today in Court 292......basically the defendent walked into court today and set a SETTING DATE for 4/11/2013. There could be many setting dates before the case is heard by the Judge.
