No. I'm saying that if it was a dividend, it would be required to be processed through FINRA. PVEC is likely calling this a "gift distribution" because they aren't going through FINRA.

Without being processed by FINRA or receiving a CUSIP, I doubt these shares will "show up" in brokerage accounts as some are expecting.
