I agree -- the absence of questioning such empty logic speaks volumes about financial journalism. I said at the time Joseph made that call that it was dead wrong and based on absolutely nothing concrete, but few folks were willing to point that out and the sector had a nice flurry of buying, setting up a very nice shorting opportunity. The comments out of INTC were almost identical in essence, a lack of logic, and in lack of anything to back it up, yet I heard no one question it Friday.
