FWIW Judge Whyte issued his preliminary ruling to Hynix and Rambus but not the public at the "final pretrial conference". However, this was not discussed in court.
Based on Stone's reaction I expect the ruling's to be favorable to Rambus in that they will reduce the amount tangential issues that Hynix is attempting to drag into the case.
