Normally I'd agree re "The only thing I don't care for is the dividend. A share buyback would be more prudent. Better EPS with growing revenues is more important than a miniscule dividend."

However, imho the dividend is a good idea for NTEK and is another smart move by management considering what has happened to them in the OTC market: (a) considering they want investors to hold their stock the dividend will encourage accumulation, (b) the dividend will discourage day trading as the share price will start a steady rise as accumulation takes hold, (c) as NTEK has shares coming off restriction this year per (a) & (b) the dividend will encourage these holders with restricted shares to keep the stock as it becomes apparent that the investor will be better off holding for long term price appreciation, and, (d) investors short NTEK shares are discouraged from shorting shares as they have to pay the dividend (it soon gets very expensive to have shorted NTEK shares at the ex dividend date).

As others have suggested this is why there is so much price pressure now on NTEK. The bashers need to make hay when they can, they'll be long gone by the X date.
