cad, with all due respect, in my observations over the past 5-years the NDX leads the COMP in new moves, either up or down.

The ratio of the NDX to the COMP during those new moves is normally about 0.82 to 1.00 from my observations. The NDX:COMP ratio has been pretty much the same as the ratio to their respective levels from the lows last week.

The NDX has moved 64 points off the lows. The COMP has moved 80 points. 64/80=0.80.

While the 0.80 ratio is slightly above the nominal 0.735 ratio the indices are at currently in price, it should be more like 0.90 at this stage of a fresh advance from my experience.

The conclusion? This is not a breakout move most think it is, as the large caps in the NDX are not leading the advance.
