techanalyst1: < it's been thirty weeks since the Naz put in the low of October...> Yes, a rather lengthy H&S re-accumulation bottom [see the weekly COMPX chart.] But I suspect the "lengthiness" may be a function of the 78% 3-year mark-down phase. I continue to see many charts that are making nice bottoms and have begun new mark-up [higher highs, higher lows] and many still in downtrends. I've noted too that bulls tend to feel not too kindly toward "shorters." But those who choose to short are merely placing their capital, making their wagers, in a different direction. I think we should be more kindly to those who short; one might be your sister.
