Just seeing a lot lately of CBS/Viacom/News Corp (Mr. Murdoch) type intriguing dd...they seem to be quite agressive of late to find innovative ways to deliver their content (in their vaulted repositories) across new distribution platforms (pipelines)..of which "mobile phones and similar devices" just so happens to be a few of their preferred "distribution pipelines/gateways" and vehicles they are chosing to deliver and drive content to and through, something like that...see again the recent NYT articles...and in some cases, developing totally new experimental concepts for content and bypassing SP's all together (ie mobizzo)...jmho...IE: If you can sell a ringtone for $1.99-2.99 and consumers over a mobile phone, why not anything else??? and whom better to do so than the media moguls themselves???...and they own quite the extensive libraries and are even developing new "home grown organic" type content imho...and CBS/VIACOM/NEWS CORP seem to be "rathceting it up a notch" these past few weeks as evidenced by todays NYTimes and other recent DD...all jmho....wthdik all wag's but the more I dd in this area, the more I likey
