I use a system development and charting software package called AmiBroker. It can be found at http://www.amibroker.com. I have used it in the past to verify others spreadsheets effort. The software also give a lot of good system statistics. Take a look at this post. It shows a good example of the system statistics that it gives.

I also use the software to generate my breadth charts using EOD quotes, as well as intraday quotes. If anyone is serious about doing system development and/or want to write their own indicators, I highly recommend getting the software. I have used it for years and really enjoy using it.

At any rate, I am currently programming in the trading rules into AmiBroker. Then I will print the system statistics, the rules, as well as a list of the trades.
