It was a source not on internet, but it was highly significant.
First we roll back tape somewhat over a year ago, where Osama Bin Laden named Zarqawi as head of the Mesopotamia Al Queda.
What wasn't reported widely at all, Al Queda announced the name Mesopotamia Al Queda is no more.
I don't have with me the new name, but most importantly though, Zarqawi name has been removed.
And the name of the leader is an Iraqi.

I feel this nerws was crushed as Washington wants public to still think Al Queda recognizes him.

This change was driven by Osama deciding Zarqawi is a lunatic.
Also, i have serious doubt Zarqawi is alive, i suspect after the Jordanian business, Zarqawi has been rubbed out.

The Jordanian bombing really showed how alone Zarqawi was, the suicide bombers included his #1 side commander.

Sunnis want Zarqawi dead, Al Queda want Zarqawi dead, Shi'ites want Zarqawi dead; like i really think he is still alive.
Only if he is hiding is some alley in Amman, imo.
