I'm definitely in the anti-signature camp. They bring unnecessary noise to the message boards, are a means to accomplish advertising on the message boards and hit-and-run TOU violations, and they cause bandwidth utilization to sites hosting the graphics without those sites receiving any benefit from the traffic.

Personal profiles are the place for members to make their "about me" expressions, however; I don't support having graphics there either.
