Snapdragon 805 tops out at 2.7GHz.

Up from 2.5GHz. With ST per clock performance roughly on par with Silvermont, this is really stretching the capabilities of 28nm HPM...but they're pulling it off. Who says ARM's best licensees have a fabrication problem, again?
If Cherry Trail's Airmont cores clock at anything under 3GHz barring a major IPC improvement, it'll be a disappointment.
