More on Origami

Steak - yes I do think this is the Microsoft proprietary project signed last year (see http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1001193/000089161805000621/f11028exv10w22.htm)

Here's why:

1) Origami will run a Windows OS
2) Origami boasts a 12 hour battery life
3) Origami will cost no more than $500

(See links in my last post, as well as http://www.geek.com/news/geeknews/2006Jan/bpd20060202034555.htm
http://robbushway.blogspot.com/2006/02/ultramobile-lifestyle-pcs-coming.html, http://blog.seattlepi.nwsource.com/microsoft/archives/101676.asp)

Add to that the facts that a) it is unlikely that Chipzilla can produce a chip that meets those specs for that price and b) Kent's confirmation during Thursday's CC that the Microsoft project involved a specialized 90nano Efficeon WITH LongRun2, and I think the writing is on the wall. We shall see.
