I think both parties could benefit... Don't we need to shift away from these single engine global economies?

... as far as the Japan disaster goes, I just have a couple of observations. The average Japanese (consumer) doesn't seem particularly distressed with the economy..We think they ought to be!..And we sure let them know it regularly.

..They continue to have a very low crime rate, there are no riots, they have strong family values, decent health care, good education, they enjoy culture, people sleep at night.
What is the mission of a government with it's respect to the constituency? A high stock market? Hypergrowth?
