SH101... I agree with the idea of multi stream venue, but, I believe the litigation is to get rid of ANY bill boards, you know, free up the landscape. Ironically, I'm 150% for getting rid of all billboards. The only time a billboard made sense to me was for off highway locations... (motel, gas, food etc.) and NOT to sell aftershave.......... or stupid SUV's. Michigan's implementing the small blue info signs is a great idea and makes it easy to find essential travel stuff.
I think most if not all big roadside signs will go away because of the GPS mapping technology. Hmmm, I think I should be investigating GPS companies instead of billboard stuff.........
And oh, I've also am an artist and have done advertising design for billboards and such, and working inside of different companies and the dirty little secret is the ratio algorithms of eyeballs per second crap has always been inflated to the advertiser (wow, bet that doesn't surprise anyone.)
In my mind, most advertisers have always fudged these numbers because they speculate that so many out of a 1000 people, divided by the height squared to the shoe size of the first 300 one footed people per second view their crap................... Do you really believe 3 billion people watched the Stupid Bowl??
