As anyone in business knows, reputation is everything. I see the validity in HIMR by the backing of NorthCal. Why would they openly back a company that is nothing more than a fly by night operation and risk their reputation to not only their industry but customer base? In my mind they wouldn't. No successful company openly risks their reputation or their bottom line on scam companies that have no foundation, period.
