livinginstyle & all re volume & bollingers...
we touched a new high early this morning.
so if we close down today, then I'd like to see the up volume in comparison to yesterday wh/ imo would still be important and bullish.
the best scenario is to get the volume w/ a up close. but volume and a close near the tops is fine, esp above yesterdays close. I just dont won't to see faltering at the end.
thats cool your one of the tom obrien tigers. i still listen to the guy & value his book. no system is a panacea, but his works very well, esp in gauging momentum, swingpoints & volume. that helps a lot in the fast moving otc. I thankfully got in on him after the dotcom bust & learned some good lessons. i did decent in the precious metal sector using his methods.
he never went into bollinger bands himself that much, though some guys he worked w/ did. what is your all's best tip educ wise in re to a site or book that can cut you to the chase succinctly on using bollinger bands effectively? & in what market situtions do you feel they work best? i feel it would be a nice addition to the fib arsenal.
