Josh, I try to be neither a basher nor a pumper. I try to tease out and assess what is going on with VSPC. I appreciate fact-based speculations, but an annoyed by attempts to "spin" the facts. I particularly appreciate people who do their due diligence and provide new information to consider.

I do think that VSPC is succeeding in getting their company associated with GKG. If you look up Giant King Grass in the search engines, VSPC is pretty much the only company that is associated with it and the body of search results certainly makes VSPC look like it is the company to do business with for GKG. That being said, I do not see much evidence that it is getting much "public attention". Outside of all the websites that automatically publish VSPC's PRs, and that great article in Hay and Forage a search for Viaspace or Giant King Grass turns up almost no independent mentions of either of them.

I do believe that VSPC may finally be in the right place at the right time as there appears to be growth in demand for both biomass and animal feed. Global animal feed prices are also rising which could help provide a great entry ramp for the entry of GKG into this market. GKG's ability to support both applications may make it very attractive to potential partners/customers. It is just a shame that they have not fully implemented any projects to date to showcase as established successes and business models. Most project developers probably do not want to assume all the risk and work associated with being first. If and when the current crop of projects are successful, we may see an increasing rate of GKG adoption. Even VSPC announcing that it has inked several additional contracts could make others more comfortable to take a chance with them should market conditions continue to improve.
