GKG came out of quarantine in Hawaii in December. Some people predicted that deals would be immediately announced there, but nothing has. VSPC even said that they did not even know where to send the grass growing in the DOA facility. We were told that the GKG test in S. Africa was extended to last December, but have heard nothing since except for a vague statement that the project was moving to the next stage. We heard many months ago that they signed some sort of MOU in Myanmar, but have heard nothing since then except that the continuous reference to a test plot of grass that is growing there. Even further back we were told that VSPC signed a contract with Sagay to plant grass in the Philippines and then heard nothing except from Sagay that they it was waiting for import permits. VSPC is not even claiming that grass grows in the Philippines. Hopefully, one of these "contracts" and tests will actually lead to something, but do not be so sure that the bad old days of working with partners who do not move things forward have come to an end.
