Did a swing and visited 6 stores for some "boots on the ground": investigation of whether this beaten down play might have a future. Having followed Joe Magnacca from Duane Reade to Walgreens, I was curious to see if he had found some niche to turn this beast around.

You can tell how well that research went...

I loved Radio Shack, for YEARS. I bought all manner of stuff, there... weather stations, mini-TV's, fm antennas, stereo cables, large print dial-phones for my Mom who was vision impaired, Koss headphones before the Dr. Dre era... you name it, I bought it there. Now I go into a R-S store and all it is is the same cell-phone crap I see everywhere else, except at higher prices.

Sad, sad, sad.
