Paksiatan propulgation nursery is planted.....VIASPACE Giant King Grass Commercial Nursery Established in Pakistan
According to Mr. Irshad, "The immediate target is to prepare Giant King Grass plants for a 100 acre plantation by August 2014. The first harvest of this crop is expected in November 2014, and this plantation will be used for animal feed. In the pipeline is a project of further planting for biomass feedstock."
VIASPACE Board Chairman, Dr. Kevin Schewe, commented, "Since we announced the establishment of our corporate Giant King Grass nursery in California in late 2012, we have exported Giant King Grass from California to St. Croix USVI, Nicaragua, Hawaii, South Africa, Myanmar, Arizona and with this announcement, Pakistan.
