Keith,

Not weird at all. We disagree on the announcement's possible impact on AMD share price. You discount it's impact, I think the impact could be measurable. It could even presage the final days of the enterprise.

I have followed AMD's dire financial straits for quite a while. While I don't invest in AMD, I believe the market's loss of the #2 uP player would be felt across the segment (in ways both good and bad for the survivors). This downgrade makes me seriously worry about how short AMD's financial rope has become. It didn't look good before ... it is downright uuugly now. I don't take joy in that fact. I have a lot of friends that work for AMD (some ex-Intel folks, some not). I would hate to see them on the pavement looking for work right now.
