The BBC and CBS clips were rather similar, but the BBC picked a better “talking head” – a physician (Beverley Hunt, an expert in thrombosis) instead of a politician (Sen. Sam Brownback of Kansas).

Dr Hunt described the risks of taking a drug derived from blood plasma, a much more relevant topic to what GTC is doing than the cloning experiments that Sen Brownback alluded to.

“The efficient-market hypothesis may be
the foremost piece of B.S. ever promulgated
in any area of human knowledge!”
