While that is true, it was not always so. There was a time when I flipped just like you.

You say you've enjoyed great success flipping. Is that before or after paying 20% additional short term capital gains tax? The surprise comes at tax time.

The advice coming from that direction has been more along the lines of buy, hold and don't sell unless Warren Buffet tells you to.

Flipping it like mad in order to stockpile free shares has been my MO here since I sold my original position back in May. It has worked beautifully of course. Hopefully it does you well just the same.
