Transcript from a meeting that probably happened in Jersey City:

Jerry Eicke: Well Laura, welcome to Jersey City and thanks for flying out first class to see us on such short notice. First, you and the Colonel really screwed the pooch last summer with that shareholder meeting vote. That was tough to watch after we gave you Barry Liben and the YA vote so we did our part.

Laura Marriott: As you may recall I was vacationing in Europe last summer and I gave full responsibility to the Colonel. He mishandled it and it was all his fault.

Mark Angelo: Jerry was just kidding Laura; we knew it wasn't your fault, but let’s get a new CFO so this never happens again.

Laura Marriott: I am already looking for a replacement. You wouldn’t really foreclose on us would you?

Jerry Eicke: Laura you must have had a sip of that investor Kool Aid if you are thinking that. You know your job is secure with us but there is no way we want to end up with those worthless patents that can’t generate enough cash flow to pay salaries and rent.

Laura Marriott: But I don’t think those pesky shareholders will vote for the RS; they really seem like they are catching on to us and some of them even seem to be upset.

Mark Angelo: Laura, Laura remember what I told you in our very first meeting. Those shareholders are a necessary evil that need to be ignored. Sure they get mad when the value of their shares go down more than 99% but the YA model is based on the fact that there is an unlimited supply of investors willing to roll the dice and make big money on the next big pump.

Jerry Eicke: Laura we already have our legal team working to find a way to go around the shareholder vote. Rest easy, your job is secure and YA appreciates your loyalty to our cause. And remember, don’t let those shareholders keep you awake at night. We’ll get you an even smaller office in Boulder where those shareholders won’t bother you. Also, I wanted to let you know that Mark and I would love to accept your offer to stay at your place when we are in Boulder for our annual spring ski vacation.

Mark Angelo: I also wanted to let you know that you can expect a 50% pay increase as soon as legal figures out how to get that RS done without a vote. We also want to tell you how pleased we are with Mannelli and Faye; you did a great job recruiting them and we are constantly amazed that they go along with everything and anything we throw at them. They are good soldiers that we can use on some other portfolio companies so pass along our compliments and appreciation. Keep up the outstanding work and thanks for coming to see us today.
