To me the PR was an affirmation of what I suspected after looking at Christian Chiari's FaceBook page. After looking at who he was, where his head was with regard to MJ use and who he associates himself with, I suspected that the new subsidiary would be more than a seller of keep MJ fresh products. His ambitions are not just for a local MJ company. He has participated as an MJ advocate in Florida as well as other areas of the country. Just recently, he has qualified himself as a register of voters in Colorado. He has sought political office in Florida. And I think he seeks to become something more than a small time operator.
This guy comes from a successful and moneyed family. Gelpid and Millennium Investments are just 2 of the companies associated to his family and of which he has held positions within. With his connections and associations, raising private capital for whatever he endeavors to do, is not going to be a problem. And he is not the type of individual to think small time. National Brands, and success on a national scale are more suited to his personality.
It is a shame that investors here have done little research, other than to discover that news was pending. And that when it didn't meet their criteria of "Block Buster" news, they fled the scene and gave up their stake in this.
I say this. That PR may not have lit a fire in the investment community here. But, there are a lot more to come. Like the Tweets we are familiar with, this is just a precursor of what is yet to happen. Read it again and see if you don't agree.
