I think a 50-50 chance of long term survival is pretty optimistic actually in this sector. Yes, the broken promise about the last CC was the last straw, and changed my outlook on MIR. In my past experience lack of communication was associated with trouble. Maybe MIR will be an exception.

1st Q should be very good, given the weather. As for trading, in the past MIR has stated emphatically that trading was very strategic for the company. It follows that being forced out of trading can't be very good. The negative tangible book value also bothers me. I sold about half my MIR bonds yesterday. Now I am holding a small enough MIR position (bonds only) that I can almost forget about it.
