Line1, First of all. If the cannon balls are stone? Then I would think that you have an old wreck from the 1500's. If the wreck is Spanish? It would be on its way back to Spain and would be carrying more Gold then wrecks from the 1600 or 1700's.
( I say it would be on its way back to Spain because Spanish Ships took a different route to the new world and would not be sunk half way up the coast of Florida, if they were in route to the new world. )

In my opinion if stone cannon balls were recovered? This could be a very interesting wreck.
