First off, people need to quit offending each other and feeling offended by every little thing. Threat neighbors the way we want to be treated, and get the chip off our shoulder. Grow a thicker skin, and a softer heart. None of this takes more than a high two digit IQ. The baser parts of human nature are the killer. The ‘Golden Rule’ is always perverted by those who prefer the ‘gold’.
Political activism and rhetoric that pits neighbor against neighbor is petty, immature, destructive, and most of all, evil. This is what our two political parties, and most politicians, use to great effect for their own profit.
The greatest fear of a politician is if they couldn't get us to be mad at each other, but instead, be mad at them for their lack of performance and stewardship, or worse.
