Yet they made no mention of it in the press release? was NTEK just a side job for him???

Probably still is. Don't see anywhere Carl left some other position. Tech Advisor? Ntek really doesn't look like they can afford full time employees. I don't think ntek has to pay benefits and pensions and stuff for part timers and advisors.
