I have read about that. It is bad. They are not reforming they are just tweaking. Most of that tweaking will help the wealthiest. This is what they want, disposable income to be rewarded for investment. Voodoo.

Sum of all taxes federal state and local is about 18% of income for everyone. Slightly higher for the richest and the poorest, about 19%.

Debt ceiling is about to be raised. No one seems to care.
