A WMD is only one tool in a terrorist’s kit, albeit a most valuable tool due to its potential of physical / economic harm, and more importantly, its Terror effect.

I believe the WMD issue is more related to the “sizzle” that sells the steak. It is an example that, especially after 9-11, everybody can relate to. One of the ‘lowest common denominator’ deals for the ‘common’ folk.

Do I hope they find (all of) them?.. Yup!.. Two reasons:
1. It gets them “off the street”.
2. The “I told you so!” factor.

AND… IF they don’t find any, or find that ALL were destroyed?..
Not a big deal to me!..
That’s because the war is about defeating and preventing Terrorism.
The WMD issue is only a part of the War on Terrorism.
