sounds to me like the goal (led by Apple..and which explains the move to 64 bit computing in their smartphones) is to unite the desktop, tablet and smartphone experience. Microsoft and Google probably have the same idea in mind. So we have the ARM guys coming up from the bottom and the pc/x 86 guys trying to drive their way down. Place your bets lol...
