CEPH Cephalon misses by $0.03, ex items; guides Q1 & FY06 revs above consensus

Reports Q4 (Dec) earnings of $0.71 per share, excluding non-recurring items, $0.03 worse than the Reuters Estimates consensus of $0.74; revenues rose 12.5% year/year to $336.4 mln vs the $330 mln consensus. Co issues upside guidance for Q1, sees Q1 revs of $355-365 mln vs. $345.39 mln consensus. Co issues upside guidance for FY06, sees FY06 revs of $1.55-1.60 bln vs. $1.51 bln consensus. Co also gave basic adjusted EPS guidance for Q1 of $0.65-0.75 and for FY06 of $3.80-4.00, not clear if comparable to the $0.69 & $3.05 consensus respectively.
