How many hundreds of millions of dollars did the Republican House cut from State's budget? Maybe you could start there when trying to determine why Benghazi was a bit thin.


There are other points too. For instance, we don't provide security for our embassies. Host nations do that as provided for under the Vienna Convention. Marines are there to enforce document security protocols.

Another even more salient point might be the elephant in the room nobody seems to want to see. Benghazi was a CIA op. They're not big on advertising their presence.

Here's another good one... How much security do you think it would have taken to have stopped an artillery barrage? Stevens was killed by a mortar.... That's not exactly close combat from what I recall. What would have stopped that in your estimation?
