Congratulations, Your situation hasn't worked for you, as you say you have a dysfunctional government under
your present gun laws. It hasn't worked for you, but you still hang on to thinking you would be happy if it did.

Your point is that you trust the way it is more than the way it could be. You are happy with
the gun violence existing in your country now, more than you could be in a situation that could
exist if maybe gun regulation was more as it is in Switzerland. Or Australia. Or, as it could be
under gun laws which exist in other western countries where gun violence is less that it is in the USA.

You believe in claiming a fraudulent right created by the NRA and their corporated partners because
it's necessary to protect you against the dysfunctional government which exists under your gun
laws buttressed by a right to carry which wasn't argued as a right at all, not so many years ago.

Your position doesn't make any sense to me, but yep, i get it.
