Green, I was a young man then, and Watergate happened AFTER the election and he knew nothing about it when it happened, unlike Clinton who had sex with Monica Lewinski and lied about something HE HAD DONE. The joke back at Watergate times was the Watergate happened after a land slide election of Republicans. The joke was "breaking into Watergate after that election was like breaking into Ford to get the secret of the Edsel, that failed miserably.
