That is exactly what I have been thinking. I heard a number of folks talking today about how bad tomorrow's employment report will be, and it seems a pretty bad report is already built into the psyche of the market. Based on that, it would probably take a gruesome report to send the markets hard to the downside.

I said this morning that if AG can recover and get through today's selling on bad news and make it through tomorrow's employment report, he will be entering into a "dead" period with few important economic reports and earnings warnings, setting the stage for another leg to the upside for the markets. If given a chance, I look for him to go for the jugular tomorrow and ramp the markets hard, running the shorts and gathering some mo-mo boyz as the markets confirm a breakout to the upside.

I continue to believe that neither fundamentals nor technicals mean anything in this market - this is AG's show until he runs out of gas. When that happens, be it next week or next month, there will be a rush for the exits but for now, bears beware.
